We are working with The Bureau of Land Management and
Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks to create habitat for upland birds
around the area. Dennis Yurian, a local farmer, has been
employed by Pheasants Forever to farm and maintain three food
plots: the Sundance Recreation Area in Laurel, the Pompey's Pillar
Recreation Area, and the Yellowstone River Wildlife Management
Area north of Pompey's Pillar. See the Habitat Page for more
information.
